James Donaldson named to NEIBA All-New England second team

 James Donaldson was named to the NEIBA All-New England second team on Friday.
Huskies senior second baseman James Donaldson was named to the 2009 NEIBA All-New England second team it was announced on Friday morning. Donaldson had the best season of his career in 2009 and had career high's in practically every statistical category.
Donaldson ended the season with a .332 batting average with a .343 on-base percentage. Donaldson led the Huskies with a .603 slugging percentage as he lifted 12 home runs, hit 16 doubles, and 3 triples.
Donaldson had a team long 12 game hitting streak extending from March 17 through April 7. During this stretch Donaldson also homered in four straight games.
Donaldson started every game at second base this season for Northeastern and had a career high fielding percentage while making 117 putouts and making 150 assists.
Northeastern completed it's season reaching the CAA Tournament for the first time since 2006 and finished the year with a 28-25 record overall, going 13-11 in the tough Colonial Athletic Association.
