Leenhouts honored by Baseball America

Andrew Leenhouts
Huskies sophomore pitcher Andrew Leenhouts was named the sixth-best
prospect coming out of the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League by
Baseball America. Leenhouts, a native of Franklin, Mass., pitched for
the Peekskill Robins of the ACBL this summer and posted a 4-1 record
with a 4.05 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 33-1/3 innings.
He finished 15th in the league in ERA and third in the league in opponent batting average.
Last season as a freshman for Northeastern, Leenhouts was 1-1 with a 2.37 ERA with 41 strikeouts in 30-1/3 innings. Used primarily in relief, he picked up two saves.
