It was Northeastern's fourth win in a row, bringing its record to 20-15 (8-4 America East). Harvard falls to 21-18-1 on the season.
Adam Ottavino made the start for the Huskies, allowing three runs over four innings. Jim Madison pitched the final five innings, allowing three runs, and earned the win to improve to 4-2 this season.
The Huskies jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first with Steinberg's homer to lead off the game, followed by a RBI-single by Jeff Maher and an error that allowed Miguel Paquette to score. The Crimson came back with three of their own in the bottom of the inning to make it 3-3.
The Huskies regained the lead in the fourth inning when Steinberg hit his second homer of the afternoon, a two-run shot that scored Tim Bush. Harvard plated a run in the bottom of the sixth, bringing the score to 5-4.
Northeastern put the game away with four runs in the top of the seventh. Miguel Paquette and Jeff Maher hit back-to-back homers. Paquette's was a two-run blast. Dan Milano followed Maher with a single that sent Bush home. The Huskies added three more runs in the top of the ninth when Milano hit a two-run homer and Steinberg hit his third out. Harvard scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth but couldn't get any closer.
Northeastern hosts Massachusetts on Thursday at 3 p.m. The Minutemen are 14-20 after a 7-5 loss to Sienna on Tuesday.

O'Donnell Field (Cambridge, MA)Mike Steinberg hit three homers and the Huskies hit six overall, powering by Harvard 12-6 on Wednesday at the Crimson's O'Donnell Field in Cambridge. Steinberg led off the game with a homer and went 5-6 with four RBI and three runs.
