The Northeastern onslaught was led by Mike Steinberg and Jeff Heriot, who continued their hot hitting, and Miguel Paquette and Arman Sidhu. Heriot went 5-6 with a homer, three RBI and four runs. Steinberg went 3-5 with a pair of runs and a pair of RBI. Paquette was 2-3 at the plate with a homer, three RBI and three runs. Sidhu went 3-5 with a homer, four RBI and two runs. Brad Czarnowski hit 2-5 with a two-run homer.
Jordan Thomson started for NU and pitched seven shutout innings to earn the win. Tristan Besse pitched the eighth inning, allowing a run, and Tony Humeniuk allowed five runs while pitching the ninth inning.
The Huskies won the second game of the doubleheader 7-6 to improve to 23-15 overall and 10-4 in America East. The teams play a single game on Sunday to complete the series.

West Field Gym (Vestal, NY)The Huskies rocked Binghamton, 19-6, in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday in Vestal, N.Y. The Huskies took a 19-0 lead after seven innings before Binghamton got six runs on the board in the final two frames.
