Godin (8-0) scattered seven hits in the complete-game shutout for the Monarchs (33-5, 16-1 CAA).
Senior Matt Morizio and freshman Mike Tamsin each had two hits for the Huskies (14-14, 8-6 CAA), who left eight men on base.
Junior Dave Pellegrine (3-4) started and also pitched a complete game, allowing three runs on seven hits, walking three while striking out four.
The Huskies will try to salvage the series tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. Sophomore Kris Dabrowiecki will start on the mound for NU.
