Emanuele is 12-20 (.600) in his last four games with nine RBI. Yesterday, he recorded five hits and drove in three runs.
Emanuele, who was 3-5 on the day, hit his first two-run homer in the fifth inning off of Towson starter Jason Volker to give NU a 4-2 lead. He then took Volker (0-4) deep again in the sixth inning to expand NU's lead to 6-2.
Towson (14-29, 4-17 CAA) scored first for the third straight game, putting two runs on the board in the top of third on a two-run single by Kyle Skellchock.
NU (21-16, 14-7 CAA) responded in the bottom of the inning when junior Dan Milano, who was 3-5 today, hit a towering two-run homer, his seventh of the season, to left-center to tie the game at 2-2.
That was when Emanuele took the team on his back to take the lead.
The runs came in Kris Dabrowiecki's favor. The right-hander pitched seven innings and allowed just two runs despite giving up 13 hits. He did strike out a career-high 11 batters.
Dabrowiecki (6-1) got out of a major jam in the seventh inning. He allowed three straight batters to single, loading the bases with no outs. He then struck out the following two batters and got the third to ground out. In all, Dabrowiecki stranded 13 runners.
The Huskies will host Harvard in non-conference action Tue., May 2 at 3 p.m. Next weekend, the Huskies will host Hofstra in their final CAA home series of the season.

Friedman Diamond (Brookline, Mass.)Senior Chris Emanuele continued to scorch the ball, hitting two two-run homers to lead the Northeastern baseball team to a 7-3 win over Towson Sunday at Friedman Diamond, winning the series two games to one.
