Savannah State 4, Northeastern 2 (Game One)
Sidhu's homer came in the third inning and tied the score at 1-1, but the Tigers (15-7) came back with two runs on two-out RBI singles by Lafayette Brown and Ricky Newmans.
Junior Adam Ottavino (0-2) started for NU (4-5) and allowed four runs on seven hits, striking out six and walking two in a six-inning complete game effort.
Sidhu doubled in the seventh inning to score senior Brian Nutting from second base, but could not put any more runs on the board.
Tigers starter Marcus Cortes (6-2) went the distance, allowing only one earned run on six hits.
The Huskies and Tigers will play another seven-inning contest today.

Tiger Field (Savannah, Ga.)Senior Arman Sidhu went 2-4 with a home run and two RBI, but it was not enough for the Northeastern baseball team as it fell to Savannah State 4-2 in the first of two seven-inning games Saturday afternoon in Savannah, Ga.
