Huskies top George Mason, 5-3
Kris Dabrowiecki had a career-high 14 strikeouts for the Huskies as he pitched 6 2/3 innings to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Frank Pesanello and Mike Lyon homered for the Huskies. Lyon leads the team with four home runs on the season. Captain Dan Milano had two hits and an RBI and Mike Tamsin added a double and an RBI in the contest.
The Huskies now stand at 5-5 on the season and 2-3 in the Colonial Athletic Association. They will host Connecticut on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Friedman Diamond before heading south for a three-game series at Towson next weekend.

Spuhler Field (Fairfax, Va.)The Northeastern University baseball team defeated George Mason, 5-3, in the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon. The win gave the Huskies a split in the doubleheader after they dropped a 6-2 decision to the Patriots in game one.
