The Northeastern University baseball team belted out 13 hits and beet Towson, 10-4, in a seven-inning contest to complete a doubleheader sweep of the Tigers.

Frank Pesanello, Mike Tamsin and captain Dan Milano were the offensive standouts for the Huskies. Pessanello pounded two home runs and drove in three runs, Tamsin smacked his first homer of the season and added a double and three RBI and Milano went 3-5 with a double and two RBI. Captain Josh Porter and Brendan Stokes each added a double and combined for five hits to extend the Huskies' offensive attack throughout the entire lineup.

Husky ace Kris Dabrowiecki improved to 3-0 on the season after pitching six innings of four-hit, one-run baseball and struck out three batters in the game.

The Huskies imporve to 7-5 on the season and 4-3 in the CAA. The Tigers drop to 6-14 and 2-6 in the CAA. The two teams will finish the series with a 1 p.m. game on Sunday.
