Huskies fall to Monarchs, 18-1
Kris Dabrowiecki suffered his first loss of the season, giving up eight hits and six runs over five innings. He struck out six Monarch hitters in the game.
Aaron Greenblatt pitched a scoreless eighth inning, allowing no hits and adding a strikeout and added in his season-debut for the Huskies.
Dan Milano threw out his 12th baserunner of the season in the game, good for second-most in the CAA.
Anthony DiCesare went 1-3 scored the Huskies' lone run in the game.
The loss drops the Huskies to 8-7 (4-5 CAA) and Old Dominion improves to 20-12 (8-2 CAA). The Huskies will try to rebound against the Monarchs on Saturday, as the Huskies' Jeff Thomson squares off aginst the Monarchs' Anthony Shawler at Friedman Diamond at 12 p.m.

Friedman Diamond (Brookline, MA)The Northeastern baseball team dropped game one of a three-game series against Old Dominion, 18-1, on Friday afternoon at Friedman Diamond. The Monarchs swept a three-game series against UNC Wilmington last weekend and they stayed hot against the Huskies today, extending their conference winning streak to five games.
