Huskies top James Madison, 8-2
Tony DiCesare hit his first career home run as a Husky and went 2-4 in the game, adding a double and two RBI to go along with the homer. Mike Lyon was also 2-4 on the day and added two RBI.
Husky ace Kris Dabrowiecki improved to 4-1 on the season, allowing four hits and two runs over 6-2/3 innings, striking out three Duke hitters.
The win brings the Huskies back above .500 at 10-9 on the season and puts them at an even 6-6 in the CAA. The Dukes drop to 10-20 and 4-8 in the CAA. Sophomore Jeff Thomson will take the mound for the Huskies in the second game of the series on Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Long Field (Harrisonburg, VA)Captain Dan Milano went 4-5 and homered for the third straight game, scoring three runs and driving in two to lead the Huskies to an 8-2 win against James Madison in Harrisonburg, Va. on Friday.
