Huskies hit five home runs, top James Madison
Captain Dan Milano coninues to swing a hot bat for the Huskies as he homered for the fourth consecutive game on his way to a 2-4, two-RBI day. Frank Pessanelo had his second multi-homer game of the season as he pounded two home runs and drove in three. Milano, Pesanello and Mike Lyon are now tied for the team lead in homers with six. Mike Tamsin and captain Josh Porter hit the other two Husky round-trippers.
The Huskies got another solid start out of Jeff Thomson, who improved to 3-2 after striking out four Duke batters and allowed seven hits and two earned runs over 7-2/3 innings of work.
The win improves the Huskies to 11-9 on the season and 7-6 in the CAA. The loss drops the Dukes to 10-21 and 4-9 in the conference. NU goes for their first three-game sweep of the season when the two teams match up again at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Long Field (Harrisonburg, VA)The Northeastern baseball team hit a season-high five home runs, leading the way to a 9-3 victory over James Madison on Saturday afternoon in Harrisonburg, Va. The victory clinched a series win for the Huskies, and they will try to complete the three-game sweep on Sunday.
