Baseball wins 13-1 rout vs. Georgetown
Trevor Smith pitched a gem for the Huskies, throwing six innings, giving up only four hits, allowing no earned runs and striking out nine. Ryan Quigley and Charly Bashara provided three-innings of no-hit relief for Smith, combining for five strikeouts and give the Husky pitching staff 14 in the game.
There were several offensive stars for the Huskies. Mike Lyon smashed two home runs and drove in three runs. Tony DiCesare went three-for-four with a triple and four RBI. Dan Milano and James Donaldson drove in two runs apiece. Josh Porter and Mike Tamsin each had two hits and an RBI and Bryan Roberts added a pinch-hit double.
The Huskies are back in action tomorrow at 1 p.m. as they take on the Bowling Green Falcons at IMG Academies. Jeff Thomson will get the start for the Huskies.
