Huskies fall to Delaware, 16-5
The Huskies finally got on the board in the sixth inning with a Josh Porter sacrifice fly, scoring Mike Lyon from third. Mike Tamsin then added four more in the seventh, as he lined a grand slam down the left field line to pick up his fourth home run of the year. Tamsin and Lyon combined for five of the Huskies' nine hits.
Jeff Thomson started the game for the Huskies, but he was hit hard and pulled after five innings, dropping to 4-4 on the season. Frank Compagnone made his second pitching appearence of the season and struggled through two innings before Aaron Greenblatt and Tristan Besse closed out the game with two innings of scoreless relief.
The loss drops the Huskies to 20-11 overall and 10-8 in the CAA. Delaware improves to 17-18 overall and 9-9 in the conference.

Friedman Diamond (Brookline, MA)The Northeastern baseball team lost game one of a doubleheader, 16-5, against Delaware at Friedman Diamond on Saturday. The Fightin' Blue Hens came out slugging the ball, tallying four home runs and 11 extra base hits overall.
