Huskies drop 11-5 decision to Fightin' Blue Hens
Husky ace Kris Dabrowiecki worked up a high pitch count early in the game and was replaced by Bobby Carrington after pitching just 3-2/3 innings.
Josh Porter led the team offensively, going 3-4 with an RBI. Mike Lyon hit his team-leading 11th double of the season and added and RBI and a run scored, and Mike Tamsin drove in two more runs after hitting a grand slam in the first game of the doubleheader.
The Huskies drop to 20-12 on the season and the Fightin' Blue Hens improve to 18-18. Both teams are now 10-9 in the Colonial Athletic Association. The series will be completed at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at Friedman Diamond.

Friedman Diamond (Brookline, MA)The Northeastern University baseball team lost game two of a doubleheader, 11-5, to the University of Delaware at Friedman Diamond on Saturday afternoon. The seven-inning contest was interruptedin the fifth inning with a 45-minute rain delay.
