Huskies outslug Minutemen, win 17-12
The top four spots in the Husky lineup were a combined 12-15 with 12 runs scored and 13 RBI. Leadoff man Garrett Chin was 2-3 with a double and five runs scored, while Mike Lyon went a perfect 4-4 with a homer, four RBI and five runs scored. Mike Tamsin went a perfect 3-3 with a run scored and three RBI and captain Dan Milano was 3-5 with a homer, six RBI and a run scored. Frank Pesanello also had a big game out of the seven-spot in the lineup, going 2-5 with a homer, double, RBI and two runs scored.
Dan Milano's home run in the fourth inning was his 12th of the season, which puts him in a tie with Jeff Heriot (2004) and current NU assistant coach Mike Glavine (1994) for the fifth-highest single-season total in Northeastern history. It was also the 30th home run of Milano's career, putting him in a tie for third in the Husky record books alongside Derek Gauthier. He now trails only Chuck Allard (35) and Tim Daley (37) on the all-time home run list.
Aaron Greenblatt picked up his first collegiate victory after giving up four hits and four earned runs over seven solid innings in his first career start as a Husky. Bobby Carrington picked up his second save of the season after entering the game with two down in the eighth and working out of a bases-loaded jam with the Huskies up by five.
This marks the second time this season that the Huskies have scored 17 runs against the Minutemen, as they won a 17-6 decision against UMass in the first round of the Beanpot on April 19. The win improves the Huskies to 22-18 and drops the Minutemen to 18-21.

Friedman Diamond (Brookline, MA)The Northeastern University baseball team scored in every inning but the fifth, smacked four home runs and scored 17 runs on 16 hits as it defeated the UMass Minutemen, 17-12, on Wednesday at Friedman Diamond, snapping a season-high five-game losing streak.
