Huskies top Pride, 6-4
The Huskies wasted no time getting on the board as they scored two in the first, highlighted by a Frank Pesanello RBI double. Pesanello continued the offensive attack with a solo home run to lead off the fourth inning. David Gustaftson and Mike Tamsin added solo homers in the seventh inning and captain Josh Porter rounded out the scoring with a solo shot of his own to lead off the eighth inning. Pesanello, Gustafson and Tamsin have all homered in back-to-back games.
Kris Dabrowiecki put together a fine piece of work on the mound for the Huskies, tossing 6-2/3 innings of seven-hit, two-run, four-strikeout ball. Ryan Quigley pitched the final 2-1/3 to record his sixth save of the season.
The Huskies improve to 23-18 overall and 11-13 in the CAA. Hofstra drops to 18-34 on the season and 9-18 in the conference. The two teams are back in action at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Jeff Thomson (4-4) takes the ball for the Huskies.

University Field (Hempstead, NY)The Huskies combined to hit four home runs and Kris Dabrowiecki set a new single-season, career-high with his seventh win as the Northeastern University baseball team defeated the Hofstra Pride, 6-4, at University Field in Hempstead, NY on Friday.
