Huskies top William & Mary, 10-5
Dabrowiecki scattered seven hits and allowed four unearned runs in his seven innings of work.
David Gustafson and Mike Lyon drove in two runs apiece, while Josh Porter and James Donaldson each scored three runs for the Huskies.
The Huskies broke the game open with a five-run sixth inning, highlighted by a Dave Fisher double and a booming two-run triple by Lyon to left-center.
The Tribe posed a serious comeback threat in the bottom of the eighth inning, when they had the bases loaded with one out and the Huskies leading, 8-4, but right fielder Tony DiCesare came through with another huge defensive play. After catching a Larry Stanfield fly ball in mid-right field, DiCesare threw a strike in the air to catcher Dan Milano at home plate, nailing Greg Sexton by two steps as he tried to score from third on the catch.
Northeastern now stands at 4-2 (1-0 CAA) on the season. William & Mary drops to 7-9 (1-3 CAA). The Huskies and the Tribe will battle again tomorrow at 2 p.m. Trevor Smith will take the mound for the Huskies.

Plumeri Park (Williamsburg, Va.)The Northeastern University baseball team pounded 14 hits in their first conference game of the year and beat William & Mary, 10-5, Friday night in Williamsburg, Va. Kris Dabrowiecki pitched seven innings to pick up his first win of the season and six different Huskies had multiple hits in the game.
