Huskies top Mastadons in game one of doubleheader, 9-6
The Huskies were backed by a strong pitching outing from junior Kris Dabrowiecki. Dabrowiecki pitched six strong innings, allowing only three hits and one unearned run to go along with eight strikeouts.
Senior captain Dan Milano, redshirt freshman David Gustafson and sophomore James Donaldson led the offensive attack for the Huskies. Donaldson got the offense going in the second inning with a two-out, two-run double to right-center. Milano had three hits on the day, including a solo home run to lead off the fourth inning and three RBI in the game. Gustafson scored three runs in the game and hit the eventual game-winning, three-run homer in the eighth inning that broke up a 6-6 tie.
