Huskies swept by UNC Wilmington
The Huskies put two runs on the board in the third inning when Garrett Chin and Mike Lyon smacked a pair of doubles and Mike Tamsin ripped a single up the middle to score Lyon. Tamsin also added his sixth homer of the season in the fifth inning before captain Dan Milano hit his team-leading 11th homer in the seventh. Milano hit a home run in all three games of the series, making it the second time this season that he has homered in at least three staight games.
The Husky pitching staff was never able to find any kind of rhythm in the game, as Trevor Smith, Bobboy Carrington and Sheldon McDonald all struggled through the Seahawk lineup, with Carrington suffering the loss and falling to 1-2 on the season.
The Huskies are now 21-17 on the season and 10-13 in the CAA. The Seahawks now stand at 24-25 overall and 15-11 in the conference. NU will have a chance to get back on the winning track on Monday when Connecticut comes to town for a non-conference game. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Brooks Field (Wilmington, NC)The Northeastern University baseball team was unable to salvage the final game of a three-game series against UNC Wilmington and was swept by the Seahawks, losing ,14-5, at Brooks Field on Sunday afternoon.
