Huskies win big in game two, 14-3

While game one of the double-header between Northeastern and Hofstra was a pitchers duel, the second game was anything but with the Huskies putting up 14 runs.
Northeastern erupted for four home runs in the ball game with Mike Tamsin, James Donaldson, Brendan Stokes and Sam Berg all going yard for the Huskies.
While the Hofstra pitching staff struggled the Huskies pitching staff was lights out once again, Jeff Thomson went six strong innings allowing only three hits while striking out five. Tyler Thornton, JT Ross, and Brandon McNelis combined to end the game for the Huskies.
The biggest inning for the Huskies was the sixth when Northeastern poured five runs across including James Donaldson's second home run of the day. Donaldson now leads the team with three home runs.
Northeastern is back in action tomorrow at 2 p.m. for the final game against the Pride. Les Williams is expected to start for Northeastern.
