Hofstra rallies to beat Huskies

The the final game of the year between the Northeastern Huskies and the Hofstra Pride the Huskies would watch the Pride walk-off in the bottom of the tenth with a single to center field scoring the winning run. The final score was 5-4.
Northeastern watched the record book get rewritten by Mike Tamsin today and with his single to center field in the 1st inning. It was the 228 hit of Tamsin's career as a Husky and moved him in front of Chris Emanuele for the all time hits record.
Northeastern took a 2-1 lead int he second inning when Sam Berg and Matt Miller both collected RBI scoring Brendan Stokes and Ryan Kemp.
In the fourth the Huskies added to their run total when James Donaldson hit hid third home run of the weekend, this one to left. Donaldson now leads the team with four homers.
The Huskies scored a run the top of the 10th inning to move ahead by a run but in the bottom half of the inning Hofstra brought two runs across to get the win.
Northeastern is back in action on Tuesday at Boston College. Charly Bashara is expected to start for the Huskies.
