2009: Ross finished the season making six starts and 13 appearances with a 5-1 record and led the team with a 3.90 ERA among qualifying pitchers...pitched a beautiful three no-hit innings against Delaware striking out three in the Huskies final game of the season...pitched a complete game one-hitter against Rhode Island on April 20 where he strck out 12 and issued no walks...Ross was named the CAA Pitcher of the Week and NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week for the outing against URI...earned his first win of the season in the Huskies 5-4 victory over Fairfield March 3, he pitched six scoreless innings while striking out five batters.
2008: Made five appearances for the Huskies, including one start...tossed 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief in his Husky debut against Villanova on Mar. 1...went three innings in his first career start for the Huskies, allowing four hits, two runs and three walks, while striking out three in NU's 7-6 setback vs. Harvard April 30...tossed 1-2/3 innings of relief in game one of a doubleheader vs. URI May 13.
2007: Redshirt season.
High School: Played varsity baseball for three years...team captain his senior year...Hamill Award Winner (Top Player in the city of Newton) his senior year...named a Bay State League All-Star and a Daily News Tribune All-Star twice...named Daily News Tribune Co-Player of the Year his senior year...threw a no-hitter against Waltham his junior year...also played varsity football for two years...played for the Newton Post 440 Legion Baseball Team from 2004-06...pitched for the Brighton Black Sox of the Yawkey Baseball League in 2006.
Personal: Born Jul. 7, 1988...Health Science major...hopes to attend medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon or play professional baseball...Class of 2011.
