| BOSTON, MA - Northeastern dropped its second straight home game, falling to Harvard 2-1 in overtime at Sweeney Field Wednesday night. The loss drops the Huskies to 9-3 overall on the season.
NU got on the board first when Liane Dixon scored off a rebound from Sarah Broderick's shot with just over two minutes remaining in the first half. But the Crimson came charging back early in the second half as Kate Gannon scored the equalizer for Harvard at the 21:54 mark. Both teams went scoreless for the remainder of regulation, but Harvard scored again with 7:58 left in the first sudden death overtime period to give the Crimson the 2-1 win.
NU has now lost two straight to the Crimson who defeated the Huskies 1-0 last year in Cambridge.
