|  BOSTON, MA - Cheryl Murtagh won her 200th career game as the Huskies defeated Hofstra 1-0 at Sweeney Field. Murtagh became just the 39th coach in NCAA field hockey history to reach the 200-win milestone.
NU was led once again by freshman forward Liane Dixon who scored the lone goal in the match. Her goal came with 1:36 left in the first half. Dixon has now scored in each of the last four games.
Despite managing only one goal in the game, the Huskies dominated, outshooting the Pride 17-5 with 11 penalty corners compared to Hofstra's three.
The win improves the Huskies' record to 11-3 on the season and they remain undefeated in America East play at 6-0. Scoring First Half:
