White elected to Hall of Fame
Jen White-Richardson, a native of Essex, Mass., has been elected to the
Northeastern University Hall of Fame for excellence in the sport of
field hockey. White, Class of 2000, will be inducted along with six
others in formal ceremonies at Northeastern’s Curry Student Center in
Boston, Mass., on May 21.

Field hockey places ten on National Academic Squad
Ten members of the field hockey team were named to the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad recently. Pam Aldridge, Kaela Barker, Annie Clayman, Beth Cobby, Montana Hewlett, Katrina Murray, Sam Roach, Sam Sewell, Anne-Reike Stuhlmann and Jillian Wilkes were recognized for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the 2008-09 academic year.

Three Huskies named NFHCA All-Region
Pam Aldridge, Ashley Bascetta, and Jillian Wilkes were named NFHCA All-Northeast Region Nov. 19. Aldridge was named to the first team, while Bascetta and Wilkes were named to the second team. Bascetta was named first team All-Northeast Region in 2007. This is the first All-Region honor for Aldridge and Wilkes.

Four Huskies claim All-CAA honors
Four Huskies earned All-CAA honors at the conference's annual awards banquet in Virginia Beach, Va. on Nov. 7. Freshman Kaela Barker was named CAA Rookie of the Year, as well as CAA All-Rookie. Pam Aldridge and Jillian Wilkes were named to the All-CAA second team, and Carolyn Malloy joined Barker on the All-Rookie team.

NU ends season with 2-0 loss at VCU
Northeastern surrendered two second-half goals to Virginia Commonwealth and lost 2-0 Sunday in Richmond, Va. The Huskies finish the season 7-13, and tied for seventh in the CAA with a 1-7 conference record.
