2009 football game times set

The Huskies have announced their finalized game times for the upcoming 2009 season. The team will play all their home games at 1 p.m. at Parsons Field, including the home opener against Maine on Sept. 12 and Homecoming Day against Hofstra on Nov. 14. The Huskies will open the season at Boston College on Sept. 5 at 2 p.m., in a game that will broadcast over the web at ESPN360.com.
In addition to Maine and Hofstra, Northeastern will welcome Youngstown State, Holy Cross, William & Mary and Towson to Parsons Field for 1 p.m., tilts.
On the road, the Huskies will play at Villanova on Sept. 26 at 3:30 p.m., in a game televised on Comcast SportsNet New England. Other road games include at New Hampshire Oct. 31 (12 p.m.), at Massachusetts Nov. 7 (12 p.m.) and at Rhode Island Nov. 21 (12:30 p.m.).
Sixth-year head coach Rocky Hager will welcome back 47 lettermen, including 12 starters, to the team. Fall camp starts Aug. 9 and the annual scrimmage and barbecue will take place Aug. 22 in Winchendon, Mass.
