Ralph Clark joins the Huskies for the 2008 season as the inside linebackers coach. Clark comes to Huntington Avenue after a two-year stint at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, located in Terre Haute, Ind. Clark was the defensive coordinator and secondary coach for the Engineers. He also served as the team’s strength and conditioning coordinator and academic coordinator.

With Rose-Hulman, Clark headed a defensive unit that finished third in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) in total defense and second in rushing defense in 2007. His team also finished second in rushing defense in 2006, holding opponents to just 91.3 rushing yards a game.

Clark also spent two seasons at Georgetown where he served as the secondary coach in 2004 and the outside linebackers coach in 2005. With the Hoyas, Clark was part of a coaching staff that had the top defense in the Patriot League and was fourth in the nation in passing defense in 2004.

Clark also has head coaching experience, serving as the leader of Maret High School in Washington DC from 2002-03. He has also assisted at St. John’s College High School and James Madison High School.

Clark was a four-year letterman at Robert Morris, where he is sixth all-time in school history in rushing yards with 1,362. He is also seventh all-time in rushing touchdowns with 12. Clark graduated from Robert Morris in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications Management. He is a member of the American Football Coaches Association and participated in the 2007 NCAA Men’s Football Coaches Academy.
