Pete Collins
Assistant Defensive Line Coach

Pete Collins joins the Northeastern staff as the assistant defensive line coach. Collins is coming off a two-year run as the running backs coach at Delaware Valley College. In adddition to overseeing running backs, he also ran the defensive scout team, served as assistant video coordinator and served as the junior varsity offensive coordinator.

Before working at Delaware Valley, Collins spent the summer of 2006 working as an operations intern for the Indianapolis Colts. There, he helped gather statistics relevant to rehabilitation and health of players during practice time. He also participated in detailing game planning, scouting and personnel evaluations during preseason camp.

Collins graduated with a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from the University of Mary Washington in 2007. His grandfather, Bill Manlove, won 214 games as a Div. III head football coach. Collins is single and resides in Boston.
