2001: Named to the 2001 Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference Team...voted a Preseason All-American by Preview Sports Magazine and The Sports Network...rated the third-best free safety in Division IAA entering the season by The Sports Network...earned first team All-A10 honors for a second straight season...named third team Sports Network All-America...missed three games at midseason with a rib injury suffered against Harvard, but he still put up impressive numbers with 46 tackles (31 unassisted) and six interceptions, third-best INT total in the Atlantic 10. 2000: Named second team Sports Network All-America and third team Associated Press All-America...joined Steve Kives as the only Huskies ever to receive first team All-Atlantic 10 honors as juniors...also named All-New England...NU’s Most Valuable Defensive Player...led the Atlantic 10 and was eighth in Div. IAA with eight interceptions, the fifth-best season total in NU history...second on the team in tackles with 97...had seven double-figure tackle games, including a six-game stretch when he averaged 11.2 tackles per game...helped lead NU to its first-ever win against a Div.
