Jackson, who doubles as a leader of Coach Sherman Hart’s Northeastern track team, will compete for playing time in the secondary. He also will challenge for a role on special teams. 2002: Available for all 13 games...credited with three tackles on the season, all three (a career high) coming in the season opener against Lock Haven...had another solid track season...indoors, at the Greater Boston Championship, placed fourth in the 55 in a season-best time of 6.66 seconds and took seventh in the long jump...at the America East Championship, took ninth in the 55 meter dash in a time of 6.68...placed eighth in the 55 meter dash at the New England Championship...outdoors, ran on the fifth-place 4x100 relay (42.12) at the Florida State Relays.
2001: Saw limited action on special teams...injured his left shoulder and missed the final six games of the season...had respectable track season...outdoors, ran a 10.83 to take fourth in the 100 at the America East Championship; also ran on the second-place 4x100 relay (42.35).
2000: Reserve in the secondary...made five tackles in first active season...also ran track as a sprinter and member of the NU relay teams.
1999: Redshirt season, did not play football...in indoor track, finished fourth in the long jump at America East Championship (21’2.75)...sixth in long jump (21’6.75) at New England Championship the following week...outdoors, placed fifth in 100 (11.03) and long jump (22’3) at America East Outdoor Championship...finished fourth in 100 (11.14) at New England Championship.
