Michael Lichten returns for his second season as an assistant coach at Northeastern, his first as the wide receivers coach. Lichten spent the 2008 season as a defensive assistant, working primarily with the defensive backs.

Lichten, who recently graduated from New Hampshire, had a brief stint as the wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator at Becker College in Worcester before coming to the Huskies. He spent the 2007 season as an intern for New Hampshire’s football team where he was responsible for breaking down and diagnosing opponent offenses, helped build scouting reports and weekly game plans and recorded statistics. He worked mostly with the outside linebackers and safeties.

Lichten graduated from New Hampshire in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in History.
