High School: Played three seasons of varsity football under head coach Mike Redding at Mansfield High School...co-captained team as a senior...helped block for an offense that averaged over 183 rushing yards and more than 30 points per game in 2006...Hockomock League All-Star as a senior as the team recorded a 10-1 record...helped the Hornets to four consecutive Hockomock League championships from 2003-06, as well as a Div. III Super Bowl title in 2003 and a Div. II Super Bowl victory in 2004...also was a thrower for the track & field team, participating on four consecutive league and state champion teams from 2004-07...set the Massachusetts state freshman-sophomore discus record with a toss of 137’10 in 2006.
