 2001: Had a dominating season, rushing for a school-record 1756 yards, shattering old mark by nearly 500 yards...finished as NU's all-time leading rusher by over 1000 yards, ending career with 3692 yards...had three 200-yard rushing games and nine efforts over 100 yards, making all 11 starts...was second in all of NCAA Div. Award as the Outstanding Senior Football Player in New England...named first team All-A10 and a New England All-Star...won Team MVP honors.2000: Limited to just five starts due to injury...hurt right ankle in the opener and was out the next week and limited at UNH...led the team in rushing with 721 yards, three TDs and 140 carries...won two New England Gold Helmet Awards as the week’s best player; the first came after running for 225 yards (second-best in team history) on an NU-record 47 carries in big win over IA Connecticut...suffered a knee injury during 163-yard day against Massachusetts and was sidelined for the next three games...earned second Gold Helmet for 37-carry, 172-yard, three-TD game in season-ending win over James Madison...recipient of the Chicken Lou Award for team’s most aggressive player. 1999: Started first six games at tailback...ran for 80 yards on 12 carries in opener against AIC...had season-highs of 96 yards and 21 carries against William & Mary...reached 1000 rushing yards in just 12th career game, faster than any previous Husky; old record was 13 games held by Gary Benoit. 1998: Led the team in rushing with 832 yards, breaking the team’s rookie record of 745 set by Benoit in 1982...averaged 92.4 yards a game...ran for 104 yards Sept. 5 against UNH, becoming first Husky to top the century mark in his debut...rushed for season-high 152 yards at UNH...named A10 Rookie of the Week twice...rushed for 139 yards and a TD against James Madison...had five 100-plus yard games, most ever by an NU rookie. 1997: Redshirt season. High School: Earned letters in football, track and baseball at Saugus High; captained all three teams as a senior...set career record for rushing yards with nearly 3500...All-State after running for over 1400 yards as a senior; also conference MVP...All-Conference as a junior.
