Eric Ouellette returns for his second season as assistant coach at Northeastern. He is the tight ends coach and is now taking on video coordinator duties for 2009. Last season, Ouellette coached All-New England and second-team All-CAA Football star Brian Mandeville, who became one of the NFL's top tight end prospects.

Ouellette is coming off a one-year stint as the tight ends coach at Thiel College, located in Greenville, Penn. At Thiel, Ouellette assisted in game planning and helped produce weekly scouting reports. He also served as the video coordinator, breaking down game films, evaluating opponent game films and creating promotional and highlight films.

Prior to working at Thiel, Ouellette was a student assistant coach at Maine, where he assisted the offensive staff. He helped with charting plays and designing drills for running backs and assisted in skill development of running backs and offensive linemen.

Ouellette was a four-year lettermen at Maine from 2002-05, playing tight end for two seasons before moving to the offensive line. He was a member of the 2002 Maine team that shared the Atlantic 10 title with Northeastern.

Ouellette graduated from Maine in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
