Pollard has moved to inside linebacker and should help the Huskies there. He is intelligent, and with continued progression, he could push for a starting role.
2007: Played in all 11 games...made 14 tackles on the season...recorded a sack, forced a fumble and made a career-high six tackles at Northwestern (Sept. 1).
2006:Appeared in all 11 games for the Huskies on special teams...assisted on three tackles at James Madison...made two stops in victory over Hofstra.
High School: Lettered in football and track at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Md. …was the Maryland state champion in the shot put in 2004 and runner-up in 2005…holds school record of 52’8 in shot put at Eleanor Roosevelt…was a two-time Prince George’s All-County selection in track…was named track team MVP in 2004…led his team to the outdoor track state championship in 2005.
