Standing just 5’10 and weighing 180 pounds, Potter does not look intimidating, but he plays an aggressive, hard-hitting brand of football. Potter backed up All-A10 senior Kurt Abrams at strong safety his sophomore year, while also continuing to wreak havoc on special teams. When Abrams departed, Anthony Nolen moved into his spot, opening up the starting free safety job for Potter. He did not disappoint, becoming one the team’s top defensive playmakers.
