2009: Named a College Sporting News preseason All-America honorable mention...tallied five tackles against Maine (Sept. 12)...recorded four tackles against Villanova (Sept. 26)...snagged an interception and recorded four tackles in a 27-7 win over Towson (Oct. 24).
2008: Played in all 12 games for the Huskies, making eight starts at outside linebacker...had 56 tackles on the season...named the team’s Rookie of the Year...made his first career start at Towson (Oct. 4)...made a career-high nine tackles at Maine (Oct. 25).
2007: Redshirt season.
High School: A four-year varsity starter at Wareham High School for head coach Dan Nault, captaining the team as a senior...as a quarterback, threw 12 touchdowns and passed for over 1,200 yards while also averaging over 15 tackles per game as a linebacker in 2006...a two-time selection to the Boston Globe All-Scholastic team, the Eastern Mass. All-Star team and the South Coast Conference All-Star team...named All-State as a senior and earned Defensive Player of the Year honors from both the Brockton Enterprise and the New Bedford Standard Times...led the team to an undefeated SCC mark and the second of back-to-back conference titles in 2006...ended his career with 28 passing touchdowns and 15 rushing touchdowns...also played three seasons of baseball and basketball.
Personal: Born Apr. 18, 1989...second cousin, Ian Laperriere, plays for the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers...majoring in Sociology...Class of 2012.
