Before NU: Spent two seasons at the University of San Diego, but did not appear in any games...redshirted in 2005...played three seasons of football at Harker High School under head coach Fred Barnes...captained team for one season...named All-League, team offensive MVP and a city All-Star his senior season...named All-League as a junior...also played four seasons of basketball, two seasons of baseball, two seasons of volleyball and two seasons of track...was an MVP and All-League in basketball his senior season...also was All-League in volleyball his junior and senior seasons...holds the school’s record for longest touchdown catch (85 yards) and single-game receiving yards (160)...had 25 career touchdown catches..also holds the school basketball record for blocked shots in a career, single-season and single-game.
