Janning is a two-time All-CAA selection and was the 2007 CAA Rookie of the Year, but he is ready to have his best year yet in 2009-10. A preseason All-CAA first team selection, Janning is 11th all-time in scoring at Northeastern and will look to cement his place among the all-time Huskies greats. He is at a point in his career where his physical and mental preparations are at a similar spot. Combine that preparation with his leadership skills, and he is the right man to lead the Huskies.

2007-08: Started all 31 games...served as team co-captain...averaged 16.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists...was third in scoring, third in free throw percentage, third in minutes and 10th in three-point field goal percentage in the CAA...finished the season on a 19-game double-digit scoring streak, the longest in the CAA...named second-team All-CAA...named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) District 1 second team...also a CAA All-Academic second team selection...scored a then career-high 26 points in a then career-high 43 minutes in NU’s overtime loss at Maryland...dropped 17 points and grabbed seven boards in win at Maine...scored a career-high 34 points on 13-of-18 shooting at Rhode Island...tallied 29 points and was 5-for-10 from downtown at Connecticut...scored 17 vs. Harvard...scored 26 points at Syracuse for his fourth 20-point game...named CAA Player of the Week on Jan. 1...scored 21 points on a perfect 8-for-8 shooting in 79-45 win over Drexel...in 44 minutes, scored a game-high 20 points and dished out a career-high seven assists in 73-69 overtime victory vs. Delaware...scored 21 points and tied a career-high with seven assists at UNC Wilmington...scored a team-high 17 points against Hofstra...scored 15 of his game-high 19 points in the second half of 63-40 win at Drexel...scored a game-high 20 points in 67-60 win vs. Old Dominion...scored 19 points against Hofstra and Georgia State in back-to-back games...poured in 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting and added six assists and six rebounds in 70-59 win over George Mason...named CAA Player of the Week on March 3...scored a team-high 13 points to lead NU to a 73-55 win over James Madison in the first round of the CAA Tournament.
2006-07: Averaged 11.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists, playing in all 32 games...named CAA Rookie of the Year...named to the High-Major All-Freshman team by Collegehoops.net...led all CAA freshmen in scoring, rebounding and minutes played...third among freshman in assists and assist-to-turnover ratio...hit more 3-pointers than any other freshman and had the highest 3-point percentage in the conference...finished 15th overall in the CAA in assists, 14th in 3-point percentage, 13th in 3-pointers, 14th in assist-to-turnover ratio and ninth in minutes played....was second on NU in scoring, rebounds, assists, steals, minutes, 3-pointers and free throws...logged 16 points in his debut at Syracuse...had six assists vs. Oakland...dropped 19 points in 37 minutes of action vs. Massachusetts...scored 16 in victory over Boston University...had 13 points at No. 19 Connecticut...went off for a career-high 23 points on 8-of-15 (53.3 percent) shooting, adding five rebounds, five steals and two blocks in win over James Madison...posted 18-points in back-to-back games against Drexel and Towson...scored in double figures for the ninth-straight game with 16 points at Hofstra...scored 18 points with six assists in the win at Delaware...got 15 points, six boards and six assists in the 23-point win over George Mason.
