Marshavelski comes to the Huskies with experience playing basketball in the U.S. and overseas. He is a developing big man who has shown a good scoring touch around the goal and on the perimeter. With his size and skills, he should provide depth in the frontcourt. His experience with Bulgaria’s under-20 national team will greatly help his transition to Division I basketball.

High School: Played basketball one year at Wilbraham & Monson Academy in Wilbraham, Mass., and one year at Woodside Priory High School in Portola Valley, Calif...named team MVP at Wilbraham & Monson...helped Woodside Priory to a league championship.

Personal: Born Oct. 12, 1989...intends to major in International Business...enjoys fishing, hunting and watching David Letterman...Class of 2014.
