Huskies cruise past BU

In the 26th rowing of the Arlett Cup, Northeastern easily cruised past Boston University by over two boat lengths, crossing the finish in 6:03.1, for its 20th victory in the series on the Charles River.

NU bolted out of the start at a high rate, taking immediate possession of the lead. The Huskies built a length lead at the 500-meter mark and had open water at 750. With the triumph, NU maintained its domination of the Cup extending its advantage to 20-6. The Huskies hold an overwhelming 36-9 lead in the all-time series between the schools. NU is now 1-1 on the season.
