Men's Crew rows at Head of the Charles Regatta

The men's crew participated in the 44th rowing of the Head of the Charles Regatta this past weekend on the Charles River. The Huskies placed second in the club eights row on Saturday and finished fourth in the championship eights row on Sunday.

In the club eights, Northeastern rowed a time of 15:09.352, second only to Harvard, which finished the race at 15:03.974. In the championship eights, the Huskies rowed a time of 14:42.169. The University of Washington won the race at 14:28.087. Pole France aviron Nancy finished second at 14:30.479 while the University of California finished third with a time of 14:33.516.

The Head of the Charles Regatta is a 55-race event on the Charles River. It is a three-mile course that begins near Boston University's boathouse in Boston and goes upsteam, ending between Allston and Cambridge along Soldiers Field Road. For full results on all the events, visit Row2k.com.
