Northeastern Huskies compete at World Championships

Huskies compete at World Championships

The Northeastern men’s crew team was represented well at the World Championships and Under-23 World Championships this summer.

Three Huskies took part in the World Championships in Munich, Germany including Dan Walsh (Class of ’02) who stroked the U.S. National Eight into a fourth place finish.

Last year’s captain Marshall Godschalk stroked the Dutch Lightweight Eight to a gold medal and Petar Lovric (Class of ’06) was the number four rower in the Croatian National Eight that placed 14th.

At the Under-23 World Championship in Strathclyde, Scotland current Huskies Patrick Sullivan and Ted Sobolewski rowed in the U.S. Men’s Quadruple-Scull and placed 16th.
