Steve Clark enters his third season as athletic trainer with the Huskies men’s hockey team, after working with men’s hockey programs at Merrimack College and the University of Findlay. Clark has also worked with the Huskies baseball and men’s and women’s soccer teams in his three years at Northeastern.

Clark has been a Certifed Athletic Trainer since 1999, after earning his bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Charleston in 1999. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Toledo in Exercise Science/Biomechanics while serving as a graduate assistant for the UT Athletic Department.

Clark is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and works closely with the men’s hockey team’s Strength & Condioning Coach, Dan Boothby, on rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies. In addition, Clark is a clinical instructor, supervising Northeastern Athletic Training students as they gain experience working with Northeastern athletes.

Clark is originally from Ontario, Canada. He and his wife, Lynn, live in Medford, Mass., and enjoy outdoor activities including camping, biking and snowboarding.
