2008-09: Played in 20 games on the blueline as a freshman...scored a goal and assisted on three for four points...plus-4 rating...1-1-2 line in 13 Hockey East games...played in his first game Oct. 31 at New Hampshire...missed 14 games with a hand injury Nov. 22-Feb. 2...re-entered the lineup and scored his first collegiate goal, the tying goal, in NU's 4-3 win over Merrimack on Feb. 6...posted an assist on Chris Donovan's goal in a 4-1 loss to UMass on Feb. 14...got an assist in the Huskies' 3-2 overtime win over the Minutemen in the Hockey East Quarterfinals on March 15.
Before NU: Played out the 2007-08 season with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the U.S. Hockey League...played in 31 games, netting one goal and five assists for six points...played the 2006-07 season with St. Louis Bandits of the North American Hockey League...appeared in 47 games and had three goals, five assists and eight points...named most coachable and most improved...team went 52-17-5 and won the national championship...spent 2004-06 at the AAA level, playing for the Alliance Bulldogs then the Colorado Thunderbirds...both teams advanced to the national championship quarterfinals...rated the top defenseman twice for the Rocky Mountain District at the USA Hockey Festival.
