Huskies take down VCU 3-2
The men's soccer team defeated the Virginia Commonwealth University Rams at Parsons Field on Saturday, 3-2. Don Anding, Nick Lueders, and Josh Semerene all scored for the Huskies while Lars Okland, Mike Kennedy, Josh Danesh, and Anding earned assists. Semerene's goal was the game-winner assisted by Danesh. The win improves NU to 9-7-1 (8-2-1 CAA) and breaks a Huskies record for conference victories. The team's next match will be the semifinal of the CAA Tournament against William and Mary next Friday, Nov. 13.

Kennedy's goal helps Huskies tie JMU, 1-1
The Huskies tied the James Madison Dukes on Monday, 1-1. Mike Kennedy scored the game-tying goal in the 65th minute to send the game into two scoreless overtimes. CAA Rookie of the Week Markus Bjorkheim scored for the Dukes. The tie eliminates Northeastern from a chance to host the CAA Championship and clinches the regular season title for UNC Wilmington. The Huskies will host Virginia Commonwealth on Saturday Nov. 7 at Parsons Field in the final game of the regular season.

Huskies fall to William and Mary in double overtime
The Huskies snapped a five-game winning streak as they lost to the William and Mary Tribe Saturday, 2-1 in double-overtime. Freshman Don Anding scored NU's lone goal but one was not enough as the Tribe's Andrew Hoxie and Caleb Thomas netted one each. Despite the loss, Northeastern has clinched a spot in the CAA Championship. The team will wrap up a three-game road trip on Monday as they battle the James Madison Dukes at 2 p.m.

Okland's PK lifts Huskies past the Blue Hens
The CAA-leading Northeastern Huskies defeated the Delaware Blue Hens Wednesday, 2-1 to extend their winning streak to five games. Santiago Bedoya scored the first goal for the Huskies assisted by Lars Okland in the 27th minute. After the Blue Hens' Darren Christie tied the match in the 38th minute, Okland converted a penalty kick to secure the Northeastern victory. This Saturday, the squad will head south to meet the William and Mary Tribe at 7 p.m. in a match crucial to determining who will compete in the conference playoffs.

Partridge, Ciliotta earn CAA weekly honors
Senior goalkeeper Scott Partridge earned his second consecutive CAA
Player of the Week honor for his two shutouts against Drexel and Old
Dominion, the conference announced Monday. Freshman forward Andre Ciliotta joins Partridge as he earns conference Rookie of
the Week honors for his goal and three assists in last week's
action. The Huskies have now won four straight matches and sit in first place in the CAA with a 6-1-0 conference record.
