Notes: Freshman Phonetip Ketnouong came off the bench to drill a loose ball off the left post from 18 yards out at the 69:20 mark and lead the Huskies to a 1-0 shutout over Quinnipiac. It was the Huskies' second straight win and second straight shutout. The game featured 45 fouls and six cautions while NU played a man down for the final 12:52 after starting keeper Allen Lewis received his second yellow card. Lewis pulled down a Quinnipiac forward in the box to warrant the card and then stoped the subsequent penalty kick. The Huskies avenged a 1-0 overtime loss at Parsons Field at the hands of the Braves last season. NU travels to Oakland University in Michigan for the school's invitational starting Saturday. The Huskies face Oakland at 3:30 p.m. and play Detroit-Mercy the following day at 1 p.m.
