2001-2002: Alsup's final indoor campaign was plagued with a foot injury, but he did manage to run a few races for the Huskies...took fourth in the 200 (22.44) and ran on the third place 4x400 relay team at the State University Centers Invitational...stepped up and took second in the 200 (22.30) at the America East Indoor Championship. 2000-2001: Won the 400 (49.9) against Harvard and won the 200 (22.33) at the Harvard select meet...won the 200 (22.26) and finished second in the 400 (49.73) at the America East Indoor Championships...won the 200 (21.95) at the Maryland Invitational...won the 400 (48.69) at the Husky Invitational outdoors. 1999-2000: Sat out the indoor season with a hip/tailbone injury suffered midway through 1999 football campaign...returned in the spring in dominating fashion, setting meet records in the 200 (21.56) and 400 (47.53) to win titles at the America East Championship; also was part of victorious 4x400 relay team and 4x100 quartet that set NU and meet records (41.18)...caught 37 passes for 462 yards and three touchdowns in 2000 football season. 1998-99: Finished second in the 400 (49.14) and fifth in the 200 (22.26) at the America East Indoor Championship...outdoors, took third in the 400 (50.80) and fifth in the 200 (22.81) at the conference title meet; also ran first leg of 4x400 relay team that finished fifth (3:27.73)...in football, caught 26 passes for 264 yards and three touchdowns before tailbone injury ended his season after five games. 1997-98: Placed second in the 400 at the America East Indoor Track Championships, 49.94 seconds...won America East outdoor track championships in the 400 (48.32 seconds), and 200 (22.24 seconds)...placed 22nd at the IC4A Championship in the 200, 21.95...as a redshirt freshman on the football team, finished second on the team behind Klemic in receptions (32), yards (439), and touchdown receptions (three). High School: Earned two letters in football and four in track at Haverhill High...won two state titles in the 300 and one in the 400...a three-time All-Scholastic pick in track...captained the track team as a junior and senior...received All-State and Boston Globe All-Scholastic honors as a senior captain in football.
