The campus liaison will serve as a member of the steering committee with appropriate responsibilities. This individual will be the contact person with the NCAA and will also be in charge of both orientation and peer review visit preparations, coordination of meetings, and interviews.
President’s Representative: Arvin Grabel, Professor of Computer and Electrical Engineering, NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative.
The President has identified the Chair of the Steering Committee as his representative. As such he has authority from and direct access to the President in all matters pertaining to the work of this Committee. The Steering Committee Chair currently has a working relationship with the President in his role as NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative and a professor in the College of Engineering. The Steering Committee chair is responsible for calling and conducting meetings and the maintenance of the meeting minutes.
Conference Representation: A Conference representative will be invited to participate in the Orientation Visit and Exit Interview. A Conference representative will serve on the Rules Compliance Committee.
